💖 Mom to Marley-Rose

Before anything else, I’m a mom.

My daughter, Marley-Rose, is one of my greatest inspirations and reminders to keep dreaming, creating, and growing. Motherhood has taught me patience, resilience, and the importance of showing up for yourself—even on the hard days. Through her eyes, I’m constantly reminded of the beauty of imagination, creativity, and finding joy in the little things.

I’m an artist, author, creative entrepreneur, and wellness advocate based in Columbus, Ohio.

I created LexKittenArts from a simple belief: creativity has the power to heal, inspire, and transform lives. What began as sketchbooks, paintings, and late nights creating eventually grew into something much bigger—a brand built around self-expression, confidence, healing, and empowerment.

Today, LexKittenArts is a space where art, affirmations, wellness, and creativity come together to encourage people to embrace who they are and who they're becoming.

✨ Healing Through Creativity

My journey hasn’t always been easy.

Like many women, I’ve experienced grief, loss, self-doubt, heartbreak, and seasons where I had to completely rediscover myself. Through it all, art became my safe place—a way to process emotions, find clarity, and reconnect with who I was beneath the noise.

Creating taught me that healing isn't about perfection. It's about growth, self-discovery, and giving yourself permission to evolve. Every piece of art I create carries a piece of that journey.

📚 Turning Artwork Into Books

Born in Detroit and raised in Columbus, Ohio, I've spent years exploring different creative paths.

From painting colorful characters and expressive portraits to creating affirmation books, coloring books, journals, and wellness resources, every project begins with a purpose. My goal is to create tools that encourage creativity, confidence, mindfulness, and self-love.

What started with a paintbrush eventually became books like For the Girl Becoming HER and other creative projects designed to inspire women and children through art and positive affirmations.
